• Healing Haiti

A couple of weeks before the earthquake in 2010, Tina visited Haiti. What she saw was extreme poverty. No clean water, no electricity, no sanitation, garbage everywhere, lack of food, shacks with dirt floors that slept 10 to 12 people. But she also saw people like Jeff Gacek and Alyn Shannon, who with the help of a few volunteers, made helping Haiti a lifetime commitment. Their efforts started in 2006 after their own life-changing trip to Haiti. Since then, they have worked closely with the Haitian people to provide clean water, food, housing, education, and medical care. What sets their organization, Healing Haiti, apart is their willingness to listen to the communities they are helping. They ask what the locals need, instead of assuming what their needs are. We are proud to support Jeff and Alyn's small group of hard-working, unpaid volunteers. One hundred percent of what we donate to Healing Haiti will go directly to answering a local need.

Healing Haiti is also supported by Print 4 Change, an organization that shares our goal to work with a purpose. Print 4 Change provides amazing, professional-quality printing for any size project, with the added bonus of donating 50% of their profits directly to Healing Haiti.

  • Opportunity International

Opportunity International provides microfinance loans, savings, insurance, and training to over two million people working their way out of poverty throughout the developing world. Their mission gives people who have little to nothing the opportunity to empower themselves to work their way out of poverty and transform their lives, their children’s futures, and their communities. As female owners of a small business, we understand how rewarding and difficult owning a business can be. So we are proud to also support Opportunity International and all the individual business owners who are working to better their future.
